Who we are

The department discharges its mandate through nine attached bodies — the Directorate of Schools, Directorate of Colleges, Bureau of Curriculum & Extension Centres, Balochistan Textbook Board, Balochistan Examination & Assessment Commission, Provincial Institute of Teacher Education, Policy Planning & Implementation Unit, Balochistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, and the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund — together with District Education Officers in every district of the province.

Vision

Every child of Balochistan in school, learning, and completing a full cycle of quality education — regardless of gender, geography, or circumstance.

Mission

To provide free, compulsory, and quality education to all children aged 5–16 as guaranteed by Article 25-A of the Constitution, through well-managed schools, qualified and supported teachers, a relevant curriculum, credible assessment, and evidence-based planning.
